NEW TO WAKEFIELD?

Visiting a new church can be intimidating for some people. Our desire is for your experience with us to be as positive as possible. Whether you decide to return or not, we want you to feel welcomed while you are with us. Below is information about our church that is helpful for first time guests.

Service Times
We offer one worship service on Sunday morning at 10am. For a description of the worship service click here WAKEFIELD WORSHIP.

In addition to large group worship celebrations on Sunday mornings, we also offer several Community Groups that meet at 11am. Classes are available for all ages. For a complete listing of our Community Groups, click here COMMUNITY GROUPS.

Where to Park
Just look for the signs that say "Visitor Parking" located behind the main building. If these are full finding a parking spot at our church can be a little tricky at times. We would suggest that you arrive in the parking lot at least 15 minutes before start time so that you can find a space.

Where to Enter
If you have children, we suggest that you enter the door located behind the main building beside the main parking lot. This will place you directly in our children's greeting area. There will be trained childcare workers to help you with your children or to direct you to the worship center. However, you may enter any door as we have greeters waiting to help you find your way.

How to Dress
There is no dress code. You will see some people in jeans and others wearing suits and ties. A great number of people dress "business casual." We don't care about the style of your clothes. We are more focused on your spiritual needs. Come as you are.

How to Connect
Even if this is your first visit, the best way to get to know us is to attend a COMMUNITY GROUP. This helps you to get to know us in a small group setting. In addition, check the worship brochure for opportunities to be involved. There is always an event coming up or an opportunity for you to serve.

Who Can Join
Anyone who is a believer in Jesus Christ can join Wakefield Baptist Church, but there are a few prerequisites and requirements of membership. Click here for more information: MEMBERSHIP.
